Marjorie EnidTHORNTONPeacefully went to sleep on Friday 18th November 2022 at Cherry Holt Care Home, just a short walk from her home on Longholme Road where she lived for almost 54 years with her late husband Harold Thornton. She was aged 95. Marjorie, only daughter of James William (aka Bill) and Rosa Grant, also of Retford. All are welcome at Marjorie's service which will be held on Thursday 15th December at 1.15pm at St Saviour's Church, Retford where her late husband was a choir boy for many years. The procession will then go to Babworth Crematorium before her wake at West Retford Hotel. Family flowers only with donations welcome to St Saviour's Church.
