Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 23rd October aged 96 years after a well lived life.
Beloved wife of the late Eddie, cherished sister of Edna, a dearly loved mam to Vivien and the late Ray. A devoted and proud grandma to Jenni, Helen and Jo and a loving great-grandma to Oliver, Jacob, Charlie and Emmy. Irene will also be sadly missed by her extended family and many close friends.
Leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and happy memories.
Can friends and family please meet at St Edwards Church, Whitley Bay on Wednesday 19th November at 2.00pm, then onto Whitley Bay Crematorium at 3.00pm for the committal.
Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society.
