DoreenTAYLORIt is with great sadness the family would like to announce that whilst in dedicated care of Ward C5, Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby Doreen passed away peacefully after a short illness on Thursday 30th January 2025 aged 88 years.
Doreen was the loving Wife of the late Norman, a beloved Sister of Brian and the late Joyce, a Sister-in-Law of Maureen, and an adored Auntie of Kate, Karl, Sue, Elaine, Joanne, Sharon and the late Alison.
Doreen was also a much-loved and special Dor to Stephen, a treasured Great Auntie, Great-Great Auntie and a very dear Friend and Neighbour to all. Doreen will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A service for to celebrate the life of Doreen will take place at the Cleethorpes Cemetery Chapel on Monday 3rd March 2025 at 11:30am followed by a committal in the Cleethorpes Cemetery.
Family flowers only, but if so desired, a donation may be sent or donated online in Doreen's memory for the British Heart Foundation, MS or Cancer Research or may be given on the day of the service where there will be a donation box situated outside at the chapel doors.
The family would like to also take this opportunity to thank all the staff on ward C5 for the care, support and compassion Doreen and all her family received during this difficult time.
