DavidSWINTONDavid aged 88 years passed away in hospital on Monday 8th December 2025.

Beloved Husband of the late Brenda. Loving Dad of Karen, Geoff and Adrian. Cherished Grandad of Gemma, Aaron, Ellie and Hollie and also Great-Grandad. David will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

The funeral service and committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday 6th January 2026 at 11.30am

Family flowers only please by request. Donations if desired may be given for The British Heart Foundation.

David was one of the loveliest people l have ever known. We go back to our much younger years when a group of us who worked together used to go out on a Friday night. David was such a good friend that my then husband to be chose him as his best man at our wedding in 1976. We used to play dominoes at the Liberal club and the ship Inn for Ansells Brewery league. We had great times together and made wonderful memories. I remember David teaching me how to play skittles. I loved it but Dave always had the edge on me. Thank you David for your friendship and the wonderful times. I will love and miss you always.
