Rita DianeSWALESpassed away peacefully on 26th January 2026 in Yeovil Hospital, aged 95.

Diane is predeceased by her parents Sidney and Ellen Swales and sister Muriel. Diane trained as a nurse at the Queen Alexandra Military Hospital, served as a Lieutenant in the Army and worked at Yeovil Hospital. Diane enjoyed Endurance Riding, breeding, showing and judging Border Terriers and was a lay preacher at St. Catherine's Church, Drayton. Diane will be missed by family and friends.

Funeral to be held at St. Catherine's Church, Drayton on 23rd March 2026 at 11:30am.

Donations if desired are invited for St Catherine's Parish Church, Drayton, Somerset, and can be made online at funeral-notices.co.uk or cheques made payable to 'Parochial Church Council of Drayton' may be forwarded to Forsey and Son Funeral Directors, Willowfields, Lowerside Lane, Glastonbury, BA6 9GY
