Formerly a farmer at Master Barn Farm, Rishton, also a dearly loved brother of Winifred and a dear uncle to Hilary, Judith and Rhona. His funeral service will be held at 11.40am on Monday 14th November 2022 at Accrington Crematorium. Deepest condolences. I knew David from when he had the farm. He helped me and my then husband get our first house. Generous and kind man. Hardworking and typical farmer. A shock as its only recently I saw him in the local co-op!

Norman and family send their deepest condolences. David was a friend of 40 years to my dad Norman Akers of Blackpool. He kept in touch regularly by phone and will be sadly missed. He would be pleased to speak to his sister Winnifred to express his deep condolences if she would like this on 01253 762350
