AnneSUNDERLANDAnne passed away peacefully at Springhill Care Home on 4th July 2026 aged 82 years. Wife of the late Philip, mum to Carol, Patrick, Craig and Joanne, treasured Grandma and Great Grandma and friend to many. Anne had a long and varied career, starting work as a Fire Control Operator in the late 60's and received her Long Service Medal of which she was very proud. She had a long-time association with Girl guiding and the Scout Movement through St. Johns. A keen caravanner, she enjoyed holidays all over the UK, particularly in Scotland and Wales. She also enjoyed holidays abroad to the Canaries and St. Lucia. Anne was also proud to have served as a magistrate on the Hyndburn Bench for number of years. She will be missed by all her knew her.
