It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Fredrick Sturman, who passed away peacefully at Castle Hill Hospital on 28th October 2025, surrounded by his family.

Fred had been ill for a number of years and is now with his beloved wife Patsy.

In accordance with his wishes, a direct cremation will take place on 20th November 2025.

Fred will be fondly remembered. Though there will be no formal service, we invite everyone to take a quiet moment to remember him in their own way.

We wish to thank everyone for their kind messages, support, and comforting words during this difficult time.

Forever in our hearts.
May he rest in peace.

I'm lost for words having lost my brother, we've been very close all of our lives.
Fred treasured the friendships he'd made over the years, endeavouring to keep in touch with you all.
I had so much ro talk to you about Fred, but I'm sure for those who knew him, already know what a kind brave man he was, always thinking of his friends and family right up until the end.
Sleep peacefully my Fred back in the arms of Patsy. My memories of you will live on forever in my heart.
