Beryl EdwinaSTROUDPeacefully passed away on 5th January 2015 at the Old Vicarage Nursing Home after a long illness, Beryl of St Anne's Drive, Tonna. Beloved wife of Cyril, mother of Paul, mother-in-law to Jeanette, grandmother to Carrie and Gareth and great-grandmother of Chloe, Kiera and Abigail. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral service at Margam Crematorium on Monday 19th January at 2.30pm. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu if so desired to Cancer Research UK (cheques only please) c/o Les Davies Independent Funeral Directors, Neath Funeral Home, Main Road, Cadoxton, Neath, SA10 8AP. Mum, you are still in my thoughts each and every day and I miss you especially at Christmas time. I send you my love and know you are still looking down on us all and protecting us. I found this accidentally. My family is related to "Stroud" family. They used to visit us in Erie, Pennsylvania USA every few years. However since the elders have passed, we've lost touch. You have my deepest sympathys on your loss. If she is the same person, I was very fond of her and regret losing touch. If I am mistaken please accept my apologies...

Our first Christmas without you being here, however in our hearts you are always so near.
Your smiling radiant face would light up the room, but the day you left us our hearts were filled with gloom.
They say time heals a broken heart, but it still hurts that we have to be apart.
