DoreenSTONECLIFFEMichelle, Theresa and Michael, are sorrowful to announce, with immense sadness, our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, and wife to Terry, passed away on 10th December 2025, aged 87.

Doreen (Mum) devoted her life to helping others, through fund raising and charity events. Mum was well known amongst Muscular Dystrophy groups, having loved, cared for and lost 3 sons, our brothers, Colin and Stephen (the twins) and Neil, with the strength Mum gained, from caring for and from losing our brothers, she was able to help others. Mum was the light and joy of their and all our lives.

Mum touched the lives of all and everyone who met her, she will be remembered for being a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and as a loved soul, who'll be forever in our hearts.

To all able to attend. The funeral service will be held at the Park Crematorium, at 1030, on Tuesday 13th January.

A wake will be held after, at the Conservative Club, Ridgeway, Plympton.

With respect all donations to Muscular Dystrophy. Thank you

I have known Doreen for many years, she was the kindest and most amazing lady. Doreen was like a ray of sunshine whenever I saw her with her daughters Michelle and Theresa she always had a bright smile and a kind word. Doreen was well known to us at Derriford Hospital due to her many years of voluntary work on the wards. RIP Doreen you will be sadly missed by all who knew you.xx

Doreen was a beautiful neighbour too, regularly dropping by with half a packet of doughnuts or half a portion of chips that she couldn't manage on her own. It's also been a pleasure becoming good friends of the family over the years we've lived next door.

If everyone could have a neighbour like Doreen, the world would be a lovelier place ❤️

She'll be fondly remembered & greatly missed.

All our love, Sharman & Andrew xxx
