Peacefully with her daughters by her side on Tuesday 4th November 2025, at Wheatfield Court Care Home, aged 89 years.
Beloved wife to the late Kenneth, devoted mam to Jennifer and Susan, treasured nana to Nicola, John and Andrew, dearly loved great nana to Lydia, Matthew, Jenna and Liam. Doreen was also a much-loved sister, mother in law to the late John, auntie and friend of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends please meet for Doreen's funeral service on Monday 1st December at 12:30 pm at The West Road Cemetery Chapel, followed by interment at The West Road Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu will be received on the day with proceeds going to Newcastle Cat & Dog Shelter. A donation box will be available at the exit of the chapel.
