STEPHENSMy very special Nan, you were always there for me, from the day that I was born and as you were bringing me up in my early years to the day that you passed away, the bond that we shared was so very special. You were my Nan, my mum and best friend all in one and I am hurting so much now that you have gone. I have so much to thank you for. Over the years at times you were simply a good listener and at other times when you gave me good advice, it was delivered with wisdom and love and never in a judgmental way, but at all times you were just there for me and I want to thank you for that. I know that our family chain is broken now, but one day it will link up again. In the meantime you are reunited with Grandad and Mum. Please say hello to them for me. I love and miss you so much, you were one special lady and our loss is Heaven's gain. All my love always. Your loving Granddaughter Maria xxxx. Nan, it was my privilege to have known you, I loved your sense of mischief, humour and the old stories that you told. You believed in and embraced the concept of family with love, compassion and dignity, irrespective of circumstance and i'm grateful and proud to have been a part of that. Above all thank you for being my Nan too. Rest in peace. Grandson-in-law Stuart xxxx. Without a goodbye you were taken from us, so peacefully and calm. So much I want to say, but too painful to write. This pain will ease with time but my memories will not fade. Reunited at last with your true love. 'Til we meet again. Goodnight Nan. Great-Granddaughter Clare and Great-Grandson Jack xx. Goodbye Nannie. Lots of love your Great-Great- Granddaughter Mollie Rose x.
