Mr Stead was my form tutor in matthew humberston, he was a fantastic teacher, and I often saw him on the way to Grimsby Town matches. My condolences to his family at thus hard time.

Steve you were a great friend to me over the years. I used to love working with you at Grimsby Town. The tunnel was always your position and everyone from the players, the directors and the staff had so much love and respect for you.

You was also a great friend when I was in 6th form. A kind and compassionate voice when I needed a friend.

Thoughts are with your family at this time.

RIP Steve
