Anne, DrSTANYONPassed away peacefully at Evora Hospice Care, Newry, on the 16th of July 2025. Late of Lagan View, Donaghcloney, Co. Armagh. Dearly beloved daughter of the late Fred and Jessie (Gretna Road, Coventry), much loved cousin, neighbour, friend to many and treasured friend of Jo and an inspiration to many students of history throughout her teaching career at Banbury School and Hymers College, Hull.

At Anne's own request, the funeral was strictly private.

Donations, if desired, payable to Evora Hospice Care, and forwarded to George Preston Funeral Directors, 1 Main Street, Bessbrook, Co. Armagh, BT35 7DJ, or visit evorahospice.org

Anne had a long and fabulous life, with many joyous friends and cats and had fun throughout.
