JoyceSTANLEYJoyce's son, Edward and all of her family would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the sad loss of Joyce, our Mum and Grandma. We offer our sincere gratitude to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who had known Joyce at different stages over her long life and who offered emotional support at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent cards and messages of condolences as well as those who made charitable donations, we are most grateful. A special word of thanks to Dr. George Bimha, to the staff at Carders Court (Arkwright), to the staff at Rochdale Town Hall where the flags flew at half mast, to Reverend Tony Ford of St. Mary's, Balderstone for a beautiful and comforting service and for all his support leading up to it; and to Dixons for their compassionate and professional service. Finally, a word of heartfelt gratitude to Yasmin Rizvi, who held dear Joyce's hand at the end. Just as she wished, Joyce's ashes will be scattered at Trevone Bay, Cornwall. Thank you to you all.
