Happy birthday Mum.

Caitlin, George and I have spent the day thinking and talking about you, how we wish we could have had one more hour with you; one more birthday to show you how much we all love you (or in George’s case, a chance to meet you).

I watch Caitlin and George growing up, how kind and thoughtful they are (just like you) and I make sure to tell them how proud you would be of them.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mum.

It’s a beautiful, sunny day today. All the buds are starting to appear on the trees and bushes and I have been pointing them out to George, and telling how you used point them out me. Little things that keep you close to us.

Thank you for being such an amazing role model to me, showing me how to be the best mum I can to my children.
