Eric DesmondSPARK(Walbottle). Died peacefully on Wednesday 28th January 2026 aged 84 years with his daughter by his side. Dearly loved husband of the late Patricia. Much loved dad to Judith, dear father-in-law to Barry, treasured grandad to Jack, Luke and Joe

Please meet for the service at West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 17th February at 12:30pm.

The after funeral venue will be announced at the service.

I had the pleasure of working with Eric when I was Occupational Health Nurse at K.C. paper mill. Eric was full of fun and also a real gentleman. He was dearly loved by all the staff .He will be sorely missed.
