As in your time on Earth, it was heartbreaking to see you fight for your very existence - right to the bitter end of your life. You know that no one in this whole wide world can fill the yawning chasm left by this cruel twist of fate. Now all that remains is for me to sit in the darkness of despair, crying silent tears with a heart shattered in a million pieces and cast to the four corners of oblivion. My words fly up while the thoughts remain below, left with a living nightmare of realising you'll never return to walk through the front door of our treasured home again. Our time together was far too short, Mike. Now the Angels have you in their care until our hearts are reunited on that glorious day in the hereafter.
