Betty (Irene)SMITH(née Woolgar) Passed peacefully away on the 11th February 2026, at The Royal Derby Hospital in her 100th year. Leaving behind her devastated daughters/carers Trudy and Averil, broken hearted grandson Wayne, her precious great grandchildren Jake and Beau, loving and special daughter in law Louise and son in law Brian. Also a much loved sister, aunt and friend.
Betty's funeral will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Wednesday 25th March at 11.00 am.
Betty has strongly requested no flowers please, donations in lieu may be sent directly to The Air Ambulance Service, Blue Skies House, Butlers Leap, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 3RQ tel 0300 3045999.
