Brian was a lifelong friend of my father, and over the years became a good friend to me as well. I was very fond of him.

He was sociable, with a great sense of humor and always a story to tell. He loved his home in Cleethorpes, set among the cafes and people.

He was also kind and practical - whenever I needed help with my house, he somehow knew jus the right trandesman to call. I will also remember the freshly dressed shellfish he would bring me, a typical gesture of his generosity.

With Brians passing, I have lost the last person with whom I could share memories of my father. That makes his loss especially poignant for me.

I feel grateful to have known him, and will miss him.

Rest in Peace Brian!
