DennisSMITHAfter a full, happy and complete life, it is with sincere sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis aged 93 years. He died peacefully in his sleep in the care of Ladysmith Care Home on Monday 8th December.
He was the much loved and devoted husband of the late Alice. A wonderful and loving Dad of Steve and Tony, caring and loving father-in-law of Rea and Debs. Much loved grandad of Ben and Sophie, Scott and Katie and also a Great Grandad. Brother of the late Freda and Eileen, loving brother-in-law of Martin and Karen and the late Pearl. Also a much loved Uncle and a lifelong friend to Alan and the late Joy.
He will be very sadly missed by all family and friends. He brought us all great joy with his warmth, cheery manner and his dedication to his family.
A service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 8th January at 11:15 am. By request, family flowers only please, but if so desired, a donation in lieu by cheque made payable to "St Andrew's Hospice" can be sent directly to St Andrew's Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP

Great memories of happy times when I used to chaufer my mum & dad - Eddie & Shirley to dinner parties with Den, Alice, Joy, Alan, Cid & Claire. Not forgetting their numerous holidays and nights out at the various “clubs” they frequented. R.I.P. Denis. Re-united with Alice. 🥰❤️ Jane Leman (formetly miller) xx
