John SamuelSMITHSuddenly passed away on 5th November 2025 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, John aged 67 years. Dearly loved Husband of the late Shirley, cherished Dad to Hayley, Dan, Sam & Leo the dog, caring Baldy Grandad to Macauley, Michaela, Amelia, Mollie-Mae, Joshua, Isaac & Lewis and a dear friend and colleague to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

John's funeral service is to take place on Friday 5th December 2025 at Stafford Crematorium at 12 Noon. Anyone attending the service is asked to meet at the Crematorium, and to wear something bright and colourful.

If you would like to make a donation in memory of John, these will be gratefully received by the Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation.

We will miss you dearly John thanks for everything over the years , your generous nature and sense of humour with your one liners truly made you stand out from the rest!
You were the best father in law and a fantastic grandad to our three , who always talk about how much you made them laugh.
