A cherished husband of Marjorie, dearly loved and respected as a father to Peter and Alexis and as a father-in-law to Heather and Peter. A legendary grandad to Sam, Amy, Rosie and Olivia. An inspiring friend and team-mate to many.

Many happy memories of Alex as a neighbour, close friend and mentor. He possessed a strong work ethic, drive and enthusiasm which made him excellent company to be in. A former professional rugby player he was successful on and off the field. He was respected in life and his passing is deeply regretted.
