Beloved Mother of Michael, David, Trevor, Angela, Jeffrey, and Alison. Much-loved Sister, Auntie, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and cherished friend to many.
Verna faced her illness with incredible strength and determination, showing resilience and grace every step of the way. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of so many and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Resting at J.Pidgeon & Son, 539 Cowbridge Road East, Victoria Park, Cardiff until the service at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel on Thursday 3rd July at 11.30am. Followed by Llanishen Rugby Club for refreshments. No flowers by request. Donations if desired to The City Hospice Cardiff, Whitchurch Hospital Grounds, Park Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 7BQ.
