GlenysSKIDMOREGregory Passed away suddenly aged 78 years on 20th January 2019. Survived by her loving husband of 59 years, David Skidmore (81); two blessed children Julian Skidmore and Dianna Stevens; and three adoring grandchildren Yasmin, Bronwyn and Lyndon. Glenys was a popular and versatile local pianist who played in working men's clubs, schools, churches and local choirs (in later years) as well as teaching piano to hundreds of pupils over a course of more than five decades. She received the Eastwood Town Mayor's award for outstanding accomplishments in 2013. The committal will be at Bramcote Crematorium, Coventry Lane, NG9 3GJ on Friday, 15th February at 9:30am, with the service followed by wake at St Helen's Church, Stapleford Road, Trowell, NG9 3QW at 10:15am. Flowers or donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully received at the service to the RNLI.
