Remembering our beloved sister Debbie on the 30th Anniversary of her death on 1 October 2025.

It's been 30 years now, we miss you still, you'll never be forgotten, no you never will.
No matter how life changes, no matter what we do,
A special place within our hearts, is always there for you.
We can't have the old days back, when we were all together,
But if our memories bring us closer then we'll never be apart,
For you are always in our minds, forever in our hearts.

Your presence we miss, your memory we treasure, loving you always, forgetting you never.

Debbie loved a fancy dress party, and they often had them at the Jubilee Club, usually organised by a family friend and neighbour.
One in particular sticks in my mind, we went off to the Fancy Dress hire shop to see what they had. We asked the assistant if she could suggest anything and she said she had Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Debbie was delighted and immediately insisted that we try them on – without even looking at anything else! Well, it was hilarious, we couldn’t stop laughing so the decision was made.
On the night of the party we got dressed in my room, giggling as we did our make-up. Finally, we were ready and carefully made our way down the stairs. Well as soon as Dad saw us, he erupted into a huge belly laugh and laughed so hard he went red in the face – we could still hear him laughing as we waddled along to street to the club. He laughed so much Mam thought he would have a heart attack. Thankfully, he didn’t, and we all had a good night.

Can’t believe it is 30 years since you passed away and left your lovely family and your friends.
I have so many lovely memories of you but the one that really stands out is our first girls holiday for both of us when we went to Berwick Holiday Park what an absolute laugh we had so much fun and laughter and every time I hear the song Frankie reminds me of you and we both laughing and singing at the top of our voice.
I wished I could see that lovely happy smile again.
Hope you and your mam and dad are having a little party yourselves.
Until we meet again shine bright my lovely friend and you will be forever in my heart xx

I can't believe it's been 30 years since I saw your smiling face. Sometimes it's all still so vivid considering you've now been gone longer than you were alive 💔 I hope you, mam and dad are reunited again. Remembered and loved always until we meet again 😘
