Mr Breeze taught me for my whole time at Catholic High in Chester and he was always the most patient of teachers with a somewhat volatile year group . He taught us maths and if we were good we could put down our pencils for double maths on a Friday for the last 20 minutes of the afternoon , and he would tell us stories of things he had seen and done in his life . I still remember his description of seeing a huge cruise ship from the dock , possibly the Queen Mary and he was so descriptive and eloquent , he had us all spellbound and entranced .
What a great guy . He taught us maths and patience all with humour and a calm attitude . I am now 59 and I remember him so vividly to this day . He is one of those teachers who made a big impression and a lasting impact on the pupils who were lucky enough to be taught by him .
