Nobody prepares us in life when we lose a loved one, even though Mum we knew this day would come. It does not get any easier losing you. You could not go on as you were and we know you are suffering no more as you are reunited with the love of your life
and the rest of the family gone before. You were a wonderful Mum,Nana, Great Nana & friend to many. One thing is certain your love for us all will live on and you will never be forgotten as we carry on in life without you by our side.Until we meet again.

To the greatest nan ... You will be missed so much, it's strange to believe you won't be there to visit anymore but seeing you in hospital battling on, it was time to go and I just know Grandad was there to greet you, with his cheeky smile at the time you passed.

To me your were so much more than a nana, you were the heart and soul of the entire family and you had this special gift of making everyone feel loved and important despite been so many of us.

Although it's goodbye, I genuinely believe this isn't the end and I hold onto countless happy memories.

Nana you will be deeply missed but your legacy of love and kindness will live on in all of us and my children will know that I truly had the best Nan.

Rest in peace Nana, thank you for everything xxx

Love Anthony, Laura, Layla and Reggie xxx

I miss you so much mum, days seem so much longer, so much darker and lonely. I miss seeing you every day and hearing your voice on the phone when I would call you several times a day.
You have always being my rock, my best friend, my protector and I owe so much to you. The road ahead seems so hard but I will go forward because I know you would want me to and I know that you will be guiding me and showering me with your love from heaven above. Your strength will be my strength, your love will be my comfort until I see you again. How I wish that I could be half the woman you were !!
The most devoted daughter, sister, wife, mum, nana, great nana, aunty and a friend to many. We are all so blessed to have had you in our lives and one day we will all be reunited in heaven. Sleep tight Mum, love you. Always have and always will !!! xxx

For Mum

The silence echoes
So quite yet so loud in my head
Thoughts, memories trying to escape
As I lie in my bed

I reflect on your life
So full and so true
A gift from God, so precious
That’s what I thought of you

Sacrificing everything for your family
That’s what you would do
Striving from day to day at times, to keep us safe
I owe everything to you

A truest, kindest heart of gold
A long life filled with love
Many stories often told and more to come
Now that you are in heaven above

So sleep tight my darling mum
You know I’ll miss you so
For a part of me went with you that day
The day you had to go

Nan.

I am still in disbelief that you’re no longer here.
Your smile radiated joy and your laugh I hope I can close my eyes and hear always.
You were my inspiration to be as strong and determined as you, to show love and be loved as you were.
I’ll miss our many long telephone chats, and how you always seemed to know if something was wrong before I did.
My absolute queen. I love you always and no one will ever fill this space you leave.
I hope you’re reunited with your beloved, (my Grandad), dad and mum and Mart. Sleep tight my new Guardian Angel. ❤️
