Hi Linda — or should I say, Mum.

It’s been a year since your sad and far-too-early passing, and I just wanted you to know how much you are still missed. We often think about the time we could have spent together again in Sri Lanka, and it hurts knowing that won’t be possible now.

So instead, I choose to believe that you’re celebrating up there with the other angels, watching over your beautiful daughter and feeling incredibly proud of the woman she is.

Oh Linda, what is there to say? Thank you for our friendship, the love, the laughter, the trifles, the cakes, our joint love for a bag of books! Thank you for just always being you, so easy to love and so hard to be without.
