Suddenly in hospital with her loving family by her side on Wednesday 14th January 2026, aged 87 years, Enid

Beloved wife of the late Robert, loving mam of Christine and Robert, much loved nana of Liam, Stephen, Ryan, Emma, Kathryn and great-nana of Daniel and Logan.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at St John's Church, Whorlton NE5 1TH on Friday 13th February at 1.00pm, cremation to follow at the West Road Crematorium Chapel at 2.15pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to the Alzheimer's Society.

All welcome afterwards for refreshments at Benwell Hill Cricket Club, Denton Bank, NE15 7EU.

To the best Mam ever, you are so missed and life isn't the same without you. Your smile could light a room up, your laughter never stopped and I am proud to call you Mam. The emptiness I feel is so deep, until we meet again Mam and keep my Dad in check lol.

Thankyou for being such an amazing mam,nana and greatgrandma.your heart was bigger than your self, you were full of fun and had a smile for everyone. I dont think that I will ever get over losing you, but I have some special memories to treasure love you always your daughter Christine God bless you mam xxx
