Patricia AnnSHEERINOn Friday, 9th November, suddenly at home, aged 82 years. Born in Glasgow in 1936, Patricia came with her parents to Middleton when she was 4 years old. She was to live there for the rest of her life. She attended Loreto High School, Manchester, where she excelled academically, going on to Manchester University, graduating in 1958. In 1959 she joined the teaching staff of Our Lady's High School, Manchester, where she was to remain a respected, popular and valued colleague and teacher, up until her retirement as Deputy Head in 1992. Patricia Ann was a warm, witty and fun-loving companion. She was always quick to recognise the potential for laughter in any situation. She truly lived on the bright side of life. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her family, as well as many ex-pupils, colleagues and friends, whose lives her qualities undoubtedly enhanced. Please pray for the repose of her soul. At Patricia's express instructions, she has been buried with her parents at St Kentigern's Cemetery, Glasgow. Her funeral took place on Wednesday, 5th December following 10am Mass at St Peter's Church, Hyndland St, Glasgow G11 5PS.
