RIP Bayne - after some 50 years of friendship - and our sincere condolences to Marjory at this time.

I have dedicated a recording of (my organ teacher) Noël Rawsthorne's consolatory Aria to the memory of Bayne.

What a blessing it was to know Bayne! Such a kind and hard working man, he spent his retirement pouring himself out in service to others. Self depreciating, with a great sense of humour, Bayne allowed himself to be used by God to bless countless numbers of people.
Bayne was remarkable. He had so many special qualities: deep humility, a great sense of humour and the capacity to challenge people graciously. Bayne's deep faith in Christ shaped everything he did. He touched the lives of so may people, both directly and indirectly, through his dedicated work in building the kingdom of God on Earth. Now he sees his Saviour face to face.
