JacquelineSHARPLESPassed away peacefully at home on October 7th surrounded by her family, aged 66 years. Loving wife to Robert, devoted mum to Louise and Leanne, dear mother-in-law to Mark and Colin, cherished grandma to Callum, Cara-Louise and Millie J, much loved sister to Pauline, Hilary and Maxine also a loving auntie and a friend to many. Jackie was born to her mother Margaret who raised her alongside her grandfather Richard. Upon leaving school Jackie’s working life started at Brookbond OXO this is where Jackie gained her City & Guilds certificate in Cooking studying at Accrington Catering College. Jackie then moved on to work for Slingers, Great Harwood working in the canteen before making her final career move to St Mary’s Primary School as school cook, she stayed in this role for 26 years before retiring due to ill health. In her spare time Jackie loved to socialise and play Bingo. Many memories were made on family holidays to Spain and the yearly visit to Blackpool Illuminations. Back at home Jackie loved watching the TV especially musicals, she enjoyed the quiet life and precious time spent with her family around her. Jackie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. Jackie’s funeral service will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, October 21st at 12.20pm. Family flowers only please.
