Dr. Geoffrey IanSHARPEPassed away on Sunday 1st February 2026, aged 88 years. Devoted husband of Stella, loving son to Phyllis, much loved Dad and Grandad, best friend, and rock to so many, throughout his entire lifetime.
Former Zoology and PhD. student at Bristol University, who became a long-term staff member as a Tutor and Lecturer in Natural Sciences at Bristol University Department of Extra Mural Studies.
A fountain of knowledge, kind and always funny, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral service to take place on Wednesday 4th March at Taunton Crematorium at 13.20pm.
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, are in aid of The South West Heritage Trust, These can be left in the retiring collection after the service.
