ErnieSEWELLIt is with great sadness to announce that Ernie, aged 86 years
passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side
on 11th July 2025 whilst in the tender care of Ravendale Hall Care Home.

A much loved husband to the late Joyce,
an amazing dad to Debra, Diane, Maxine and the late Karl.
Ernie was also a wonderful father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad, great-great-grandad,
brother, uncle and a good friend to many who will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Ernie's life will be held at
Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 8th August at 12 noon.

Donations in memory of Ernie can be made to Ravendale Hall Care Home.
A donation box will be available on the day.
Alternatively floral tributes will be received by Waltham Funeral Service.

Well Dad this first year without you as been hard. I hope mam Karl and Lewis are looking after you . We miss you so much . We took you some flowers to Elland rd today . That’s were we took some of your ashes , we hope you liked them . Love and miss you all so much xx ❤️💙💙💙

Hi Dad still missing you lots. You would have been so proud of Liam today . He did 10k in 45 mins 30secs . I bet you was up there clapping him all the way, saying well done son with the biggest smile.

Hi Dad still missing you and mam lots. You would be so proud of Liam he’s doing race for life tomorrow. He is doing the Grimsby 10k in June. You would be clapping him on with a big smile. Uncle richard is encouraging him all the way. I hope your back with mam Karl and Lewis . Love you all lots xx

Hi Dad it still doesn’t seem real that your not here , I still go to phone you when I finish work I miss our chats. You would be so proud of Liam he’s following in your footsteps with running. He’s doing great uncle Richard is following him and giving him advice , just wish you was here to be able to watch him you would be so proud, you would be clapping him on . Love and miss you xx
