Dear all, thank you for your thoughtful tributes about dad / Mick. Thank you for your attendance at his funeral celebration. And a final thank you for your donations to Windyway Trust and The Christie. With online and collected donations £355 has been raised for each charity, which we are sure will be gratefully received in his memory. Unfortunately we do not have contact details for all individuals who donated so we hope this message will be seen. Best wishes to everyone.

Such sad news. Mick was a lovely guy. I remember his brother Dave too. Condolences to his family.

remember the good times we had together

To Budda, it’s the night before we say goodbye to you and I’m really not ready but I know you can’t wait any longer to be reunited with Nana so I have poured myself a glass of fizz to raise a toast to you. If only you were here with a glass in hand too but we know how that would end (remember when I had to ring in sick when I worked at Argos 😂). You were a constant in my life since I was 8 years old, you always seemed to understand me and were there for me through life’s ups and downs and my special life events including learning to drive. Even when I scratched your car you still continued to turn up weekly for me to practice although there was a few words muttered under your breath 😂 I’m sure you sighed with relief when I passed my driving test! We spent such wonderful times together as a family for holidays, Christmasses and you were always the life and soul of any party O.M.G remember when I bumped into you in revs when I was out with my friends and I gave you the chilli vodka shot 😂. That’s how I will remember you laughing, dancing and having fun. it’s now time for you to rest in peace. Love you ❤️
