Died on 9th February 2026 aged 86 years, after a long illness.

Husband of the late Margaret and much loved brother of Ev, the late Joan, Sue and Mike.
Missed by all the family.

Funeral Service to be held at West Road Crematorium on
Friday 6th March at 10.30am.

Family flowers only please, donations gratefully received at the funeral
or direct to St Oswald's Hospice, Gosforth.

I feel very blessed that I knew Dick Scott. He was a lovely man and a very good friend whose company I enjoyed very much. I had so much respect for Dick the way that he dealt with his ill health. He refused to feel sorry for himself. He always used to say that there were lots of people much worse off than him.

Dick was also a brilliant artist who produced many excellent works of art even though he had no formal training.

Rest in peace Dick, it was a pleasure to have known you and you will be a big miss.
