Jean MarySCOTTPeacefully on Friday 26th December 2025 in the care of Kensington Care Home, Immingham, Jean formerly of 24 St Hildas Avenue, Grimsby sadly passed away aged 100 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Peter John, much loved mum of John and David, mother in law of Deborah and Samantha, a loving grandma of Ben and Rosie, great grandma of Tobias and Oscar and a great friend to many.

A funeral service will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 22nd January 2026 at 12.00pm.

Family flowers only please by request. Donations to St Andrew's Hospice may be sent to H & HJ Huteson & Sons, The Old Chapel, Bluestone Lane, Immingham, DN40 2DX.

Such a gentle lady with the sweetest smile. I worked with her husband many years ago so Jean and I had lots of people in common. Always stopped for a chat when I was gardening in Compton Drive. A pleasure to have known Jean.

Jean was a lovely gentle lady, always had a smile for everyone & a warm welcome . I knew Jean as a member of the congregation at the Grimsby Minster & a member of the PPG group at the Woodford Medical Centre.
