Alan..what a send off you got yesterday from your Family and Friends. Alan you have been such a very good friend to me.
Alan always introduced me to his friends as the “Second Best Joiner” in Bathgate. Once or twice I managed to beat him to the punch and introduce Alan as the second best joiner but did get a few grunts. Even in Tenerife when Alan would introduce me to any of his friends there, they would say “oh you are the Second Best Joiner then”. He had them all versed up! Alan’s persistant persuasion for myself and family to holiday in Tenerife was a good one. So glad he did. Tenerife holidays won’t be the same with no Alan. Will miss the banter and chats. Our friendship was second to none. There will be no other like it. Sleep peacefully.
