Remembering Alan with so much love; fond and happy memories of the years spent with him in our lives.
Fantastic cook, wise advice, didn't suffer fools or foolishness yet always kind with a fab sense of humour.
Much missed on this ninth year since he left us.
With much love always xx

Birthday memories of you today, Alan. You were such a life force and a truly wonderful kind man - mischievous with a huge sense of civic duty and pride in what you did. That lives on in all of us who were lucky enough to be your family - we love you Alan, happy celestial birthday and have a glass of something lovely xx
