JoanSABRIof Ronaldsway Close, Bacup, has passed away.
Joan had a variety of jobs throughout her life, including nurse, rally driver, club singer and business owner. She will be remembered most of all as a mum who made sure all her children were looked after, always putting others before herself. Even after retirement Joan continued to look after others.
Joan’s only interest was her family and devotion to her children. Throughout her life she supported other people bringing happiness in to their lives. She worked as a volunteer with Age UK.
Joan was widow to husband Tony. Together, Tony and Joan brought up 13 children. She also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren, 78 family members in total! “Mum, you will always be in our hearts and never forgotten, from all your children and grandchildren, we love you.”
A service of celebration and Thanksgiving for Joan’s life will be held at Burnley Crematorium on
Friday, November 3 at 1.45pm.
