Lorraine PearlRUNGEIt is with great sadness I write this. Lorraine, my wife and best friend of over 41 years passed away on 16th October 2025 aged 77 years, after a short stay at Derriford Hospital following a massive stroke. Sharon, our daughter, was with us to the end.

Lorraine leaves behind myself, Daughter Sharon, Grandaughters Charlotte and Danielle, and Great Grandson Oscar who was the joy of her life.

She was a good and loyal friend and will leave a hole in the lives of many people as well as myself. Very much a people person, she would need to get out daily and meet people even if it was only while shopping or enjoying 'retail therapy'. Active in Ladies darts circles both in Plymouth and later playing for the Dartmoor Prison Officers ladies team. Very much an animal lover, at one time accumulating 6 dogs and a couple of cats. She bought a pony after seeing it born on the moors and Charlie was a great passion for her.

Though a trained florest she did not like cut flowers, because they would die after a short time. Because of this I ask for family flowers only, however if you would like to make a donation to the Woodside Animal Welfare Trust. I know this was close to her. these can be given at the funeral or online at wyattbrothers.co.uk

The funeral service will be at The Park Crematorium, Plymouth, Room 1 at 1pm on 6th November . There is no dress code, I just want people to be comfortable saying fairwell to the most wonderful partner in life I could wish for. Martin.

Dear Martin and Family,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Lors was a wonderful person, and we will truly miss her.

Lainey was one in a million she was so caring to everyone she met, Lainey was always there for her family and her friends , to Lainey family came first and she had so much love for her Martin Sharon Charlotte Dannielle and her Great Grandson Oscar she has left a big hole in everyone hearts.
