In Memory of John Rogers 💚
The Health Tree Foundation is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our long-standing volunteer, John Rogers, who sadly passed away at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital on 26th June 2026
John dedicated many years to supporting The Health Tree Foundation, tirelessly raising funds for our Golden Leaves Appeal through bucket collections and fundraising stands across Grimsby, including local supermarkets and our charity stall at DPOW.
His kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others touched the lives of so many. John was a valued member of our charity family and a wonderful ambassador for our work, always giving his time to make a difference for patients, families, and staff across our hospitals.
John's contribution to The Health Tree Foundation and the local community will not be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with John's family, friends, and all who knew him at this difficult time.

I had the privilege of knowing John for some years. He was a devoted husband, fiercely proud father and grandfather and a good friend. A brother to me in Lodge and as a veteran. He has been sorely missed by both communities for some time due to his sad illness. Go in peace to the Grand Link Above until we meet again at the final R.V. Brother.
