JenniferROGERSWith sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jenny Rogers (formerly Cartledge, nee Rose) a former resident of Leek, Staffordshire on the 26th March 2026 at her care home in Sydney, Australia. Jenny was born in Leek on the 22nd May 1949 to Sidney and Daisy Rose (both Leek residents). She was a sister to Linda, Pat, the late Michael and the late Richard Rose.
Jenny had lived permanently in Sydney, Australia since 1989. She leaves behind her loving husband Tony, sons James, Adam, Nathan, step daughters Michelle and Donna. She was a much-loved grandmother, sister, aunt, mother and sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many in her home town of Leek and Australia.
Those local to Leek may remember Jenny from attending Compton School and Britannia Street School during the 1950s and 60s. Also her time working at Lux Lux on Frith Street, Leek in late 1960s as well as her time as a server in Tasty Takeaway on the Smithfield Centre in the late 1970s.
Her funeral will take place 2nd April 2026 1:30pm (Australia time) at the Pinegrove Memorial Park, Sydney, Australia.
She will be greatly missed by her son James and Family in Ipstones, Staffordshire.
