Gillian BarbaraROBINSON(Kirknewton) Gill died suddenly & tragically, a pedestrian in a road accident near her home in Kirknewton, on December 16, 2021, aged 65 years. Formerly of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, she worked as a Secretary in Simpson Special Care Baby Unit, Edinburgh for over 25 years, a leading fundraiser for its charity, for which she was awarded an MBE in 2009, a passionate conservationist, who loved to walk in the Scottish Highlands. Gill leaves mum, Barbara (father John deceased); sisters, Sue, Marg & Jacqui; nieces Kate, Aimee, Ruby & Evie; great niece Sofia & great nephew Oakley.
