SheilaROBINSON13th May 1946 - 25th January 2016 Alan (Pickles) would like to thank:- - Family, friends, Royal Oak Bishops Cleeve acquaintances, Unite the Union colleagues, Sheila's ex-work mates and her brother Gerald's carers from Harrington House, Cheltenham who attended Sheila's funeral. - The regulars at the Royal Oak who have given or have offered support and assurance all was well in the early days. Especially, Broomer and Sheila who also, along with their staff produced excellent refreshments for the 'after event'. - Canon John Mead who conducted the funeral service in a relaxed, informative and meaningful way. Many expressed this view, not to him, but me, so the message is passed on. - Those who donated to Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Charitable Fund. It all helps but there is a long way to go on many cancer type fronts, both for scientists and patients. - Alexander Burns' staff for the excellent service dealing with the procedures that one least wants to know about but are necessary at the time of the death of a loved one.
