Olive MarjorieROBINSON MBE(née Redding ) 31 March 1924 - 15 January 2026.

A long-time Truro resident, Olive passed away peacefully at the Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) at the age of 101.

Beloved wife of Harry (deceased). Daughter of Frederick and Ellen (both deceased). Sister of John and Bert Redding (both deceased) and sister-in-law of Joan Redding (deceased). Sister-in-law of Jim, Albert, and Reg Robinson (all deceased). Adored godmother of Janet (née Robinson) and Fiona (née Holt). Much-loved aunt and great-aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Olive's wartime service with the Special Operations Executive, in the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY), was followed by over 50 years as an active Tory Party worker, resulting in her investiture as an MBE at Buckingham Palace by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1996.

Olive was active in the Truro Keep Fit community, was a passionate supporter of the National Trust, and enjoyed walking the hills and coastlines of Cornwall with her beloved Harry.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday 5 February at 3.30 pm, in the Kernow Chapel, Penmount Crematorium. Family flowers only.
