DoreenROBINSAnne (nee McIntosh) Paula, Ray, Carly, Robin and Alfie send heartfelt thanks to all who have supported them especially over the last few weeks. We were so blessed that what could have been six months stretched to six years and all because of an unmeasurable resilience and will to win that Doreen had. A massive thank you to Dr Sothi who gave her guidance, patience and honest care from which Doreen gained great strength and forged a trusting relationship that without doubt made a huge difference. Some very special friends have given Doreen the strength and energy to battle on and we hope you know just how much this meant to us all. A special send off was really important and the day could not have been more perfect. Two magnificent horses carried Doreen on her final journey taking in many special places where she grew up in Bulkington, the cortège was followed by her close family and special friends. A service led by Peter in Chapel, special words from Paula and Robin, music from Virtuoso in Brass with a little help from Abbey Road Studios, chapel flowers by a special friend, high tea cakes orchestrated by Carly and made with love by family and friends, a VW 'Splitty' driven superbly by Clare were just some of the special ingredients integral to making the day one that Doreen would have loved. A day to share many memories and make some more together ... Dawn and the Devalls Team provided all we asked for and more, giving support and guidance at a time when we needed it most. Paula would like to send a special message of thanks to Ray, Carly and Robin for staying true to the promise we all made to Mum - always stay normal! You have been amazing and now it is time for us to find our new normal together.
