Gladys AudreyROBERTSAged 82, born in Liverpool 5th March 1944 to her parents Mary & William Reason, passed away peacefully at Garreglywd Care home Holyhead on Mothering Sunday, 15th March 2026, surrounded by her family and her wonderful care team. Beloved wife of the late Frank Roberts, devoted mother to her children Tony, Keith, Jacqui & Kath. Loving sister to the late Pat and Ray and a much-loved Grandma to Daniel, Mia, Poppy, Charlie, Iestyn, Harri and Caleb and most recently a Great Grandmother to Darcy. Gladys was a former nurse, a senior seamstress at Hepworths, a former employee at Metalbox in Speke and MEM in Holyhead. Above all, Gladys was all about family who she loved passionately. She loved a good laugh and had a fantastic sense of humour; she enjoyed dancing and singing and was the life and soul of the family home. Gladys & her late husband Frank enjoyed showing and breeding boxer dogs together and enjoyed looking after many animals on their small holding. The family would like to thank the care team in Garreglywd for their unwavering kindness, love and support shown to Gladys, along with thanks to the Palliative Care Nurses.
Funeral Thursday 09th April 2026. Public service at Preswylfa Chapel of Rest, Valley at 11.00am, followed by internment at Ynys Wen Cemetery, Valley.
