Glyn BenbowROBERTS(Ben) Formerly Manager of Test House, Fort Dunlop. Died peacefully in hospital on 31st December 2018 aged 94. Beloved husband of Elizabeth, much loved father of Jane and son-in-law Brian and cherished grampy of Victoria and Florence. Funeral service to take place at Saint Peter's Church, Little Aston on Friday 25th January at 2:15pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Research UK c/o Ian Hazel Funerals ltd, 274 Lichfield Rd, Sutton Coldfield, B74 2UH Tel 0121 308 7777.

Ben was my first ever manager at my first ever job (in the Indoor tyre testing dept at Dunlop) after graduating from University in 1981. He was very supportive of me starting my PhD research on all the test data we were generating. I left Dunlop in 1986 and had a successful career at the Ford Motor Company, and then subsequently at Jaguar Land Rover. RIP Ben, and thank you.
